Mississippi AIDS Justice Project 15th...Description
For fifteen years, the Mississippi AIDS Justice Project has stood at the forefront of advocacy, fighting for the rights, dignity, and well-being of people affected by HIV across Mississippi. This virtual event celebrates our legacy of courage and commitment while looking ahead to a broader vision — one that embraces health, equity, and justice for all.
We are honored to welcome our guest speakers, Kendra Johnson, MPH, Director of Mississippi State of Health's Office of STD/HIV, and Marvin Anderson, Founder of (SAND)-Stigmocracy Advocacy Network & Development, as we commemorate fifteen years of the Mississippi AIDS Justice Project's advocacy and impact across the state.
Join us as we reflect on the milestones, lived experiences, and partnerships that have shaped our journey, and explore how we reimagine the next chapter. Together, we’ll honor the progress made, uplift the voices that have driven change, and envision a future where every person and community has the opportunity to thrive in health and in justice.
