About Us

CTA (Coast Transit Authority) is a non-profit public transportation provider for Mississippi’s three coastal counties. Governed by a Board of Commissioners, it operates independently and is the official recipient of state and federal urban transit funding for the Gulf Coast.

Mission:
To deliver safe, reliable, clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable public transit on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, efficiently.

Services Offered:

Fixed Route: Scheduled routes using a hub-and-spoke system with designated stops and passenger facilities ranging from benches to full-service stations.

ADA/Paratransit: Curb-to-curb service for eligible riders with disabilities within ¾ mile of a fixed route, available by appointment.

Special Services: Contracted rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities for trips to centers, appointments, and more.
