About Us
Our pet therapy group members visit hospitals, nursing homes, physical rehabilitation and hospice centers to provide comfort, connection, and emotional support through certified therapy dogs. We also visit libraries, schools, colleges, universities, and special events—where our therapy dogs truly make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
To grow and strengthen our program, we hold monthly informational and recruitment meetings for prospective handlers and dogs interested in becoming certified therapy teams. These sessions provide an overview of the training, evaluation process, and opportunities to serve, helping new volunteers get started in bringing joy and healing to the community.
