Gulfport Chamber of Commerce announces 2025 Board and Chair, Chris Estrade
January 02, 2025The Gulf Chamber is pleased to announce Chris Estrade as the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce Chair for 2025.
Chris Estrade began his career with Hancock Whitney in November of 2005 and currently serves as Vice President of Business Banking in Gulfport.
Chris is a Gulfport Rotarian where he has held the position of club President and now serves as an Assistant Governor on the Gulf Coast. He is a previous Coast Young Professionals board member, a graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast and has previously held the position of Vice-Chair of Small Business and Economic Development for the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce.
Within the banking industry, Chris is a previous Mississippi Young Bankers Council Member and a current member of the American Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Council where he was recently selected to serve as the 2024 -2025 Vice-Chair of the council. He is a regional Community Champion for Hancock Whitney where he advocates for issues ranging from affordable housing for low-to-moderate income individuals and he serves as a mentor in the Hancock Whitney Corporate Internship Program providing guidance and support to company interns. Chris is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and was selected as President of his 2026 class and received the inaugural George A. Schloegel Memorial Scholarship.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from William Carey University. He is married to Betsey Sawyer Estrade and has four children: Jackson, Andrew, Noah and Elizabeth Claire.
