    Mark Loughman joins the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

    Mark Loughman serves as Mississippi Power’s Coast Division Manager, a position he has held since April 2022. In this role, he oversees electric system operations, engineering, customer service, and local external affairs in the state’s six southernmost counties.

    Mark began his career at Mississippi Power in 1998 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in environmental affairs, economic development, marketing, system planning, and division operations.

    He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College and a Master of Science degree from Yale University. He is a graduate of Leadership Mississippi, Leadership Gulf Coast, Leadership Jackson County, Mississippi Power’s Leadership Development Program, and the Gulf Coast Business Council’s Masters Leadership Program.

    Mark also serves as a Commissioner for the Mississippi State Port Authority, appointed by the City of Gulfport in March 2022.

    Originally from Hattiesburg, Mark now resides in Gulfport with his wife, Leslie, where they raised their three children – Meg, Patrick, and Caroline.
