• Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce announces 2026 Membership Chair, Angelyn Zeringue

    The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Angelyn Zeringue as the 2026 Membership Director.

    A New Orleans native who has called the Coast home for more than 30 years, Angelyn combines deep professional expertise with a passion for helping others. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Professional Workers Compensation Account Manager, and Certified Business Insurance Advisor with over 25 years of experience in protecting families and businesses. Angelyn is a Trusted Choice independent insurance agent and President of SouthGroup Insurance Services - Gulf Coast covering the Southeast Region of the US (www.southgroupgulfcoast.com).

    Angelyn’s leadership extends far beyond her profession. She has served as president of the Hancock Chamber of Commerce, holds board positions with the MS Gulf Coast Chamber and Gulf Coast Business Council, and is an advocate through the Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s GivHer Circle. Her commitment to community has earned her recognition as Citizen of the Year, Elite Woman in Insurance, Top Influencer, Volunteer of the Year, Person of Passion for Hancock County, Hancock County Citizen of the Year, National Top Women in Insurance, America’s Elite Women in Insurance, and  One Coast Community Leader.

    Angelyn attended high school at Our Lady Academy, graduating as Valedictorian, and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Accountancy. She is married to Mickey Zeringue, is the daughter of Loislyn & A.J. Scardino, Jr., is the eldest of 10 children, and is the proud mother of Trey (married to Joy Buckley Treutel) and Alex, and the proud step-mom of Andrew (married to Bridget Lyons Zeringue) and Eric (married to Kristen Bacala Zeringue).

    Guided by her faith, family, and a mission to mentor the next generation of leaders, Angelyn continues to make a lasting impact on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
