    Work Schedule:

    1. B shift 2:00pm-10:30pm (5 days a week with set days off)
    (1)   C shift 10:00pm-6:30am (5 days a week with set days off)
     
    8-hour shifts with rotating schedule and set days off. Schedule will be discussed in the interview.
    Position Description:  Support Care Professional Supervisors (SCP Supervisors) are the first-level supervisory position accountable for the management of subordinate staff. This position is responsible for delegating assignments and assigning tasks. They are also accountable for establishing and ensuring staff follow employee policies and procedures. SCP Supervisors follow policy and procedures and communicate with staff in residential area. SCP Supervisors will conduct supervision with those staff in his/her residential area and input clinical supervision online. SCP Supervisors address anything that needs to be corrected (example: making sure the restraint bed restraints are properly placed, laundry procedures are followed, etc); SCP Supervisors are responsible for assigning and completing all paperwork and reports as well as ensuring their staff complete in-services and online training to remain in compliance. SCP Supervisors are responsible for noticing changes in residents and respond proactively; redirect residents to encourage appropriate communication and behavior; recognize possible danger in environment and respond accordingly; maintain appropriate staffing ratios throughout the shift; provide leadership for employees and assign daily job responsibilities; coaches employees on appropriate interactions/professional boundaries with residents; provides input/documentation for employee discipline. Maintains certifications in Mandt, CPR and first aid as required by STF. Maintains a valid driver license and liability insurance to be a driver of a state vehicle. All STF employees are responsible for reading, understanding, and adhering to all policies, protocols, and memorandums. Universal Precautions and Infection Control policies must be adhered by all STF employees. Universal precautions were designed for doctors, nurses, patients, and healthcare workers who came into contact with patients and their bodily fluids. All healthcare workers are responsible for all aspects of care for the residents served at STF. Residential staff and Nurses must abide by standard precautions which applies to the care of all patients, irrespective of their disease state. These precautions apply when there is a risk of potential exposure to (1) blood; (2) all body fluids, secretions, and excretions, except sweat, regardless of whether or not they contain visible blood; (3) non-intact skin, and (4) mucous membranes. This includes hand hygiene and personal protective equipment (PPE), with hand hygiene being the single most important means to prevent transmission of disease. Personal protective equipment serves as a barrier to protect the skin, mucous membranes, airway, and clothing. It includes gowns, gloves, masks, and face shields or goggles. All other duties as assigned.
    EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    Requires 5+ years of related experience, STF experience preferred, and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Typically requires 30 hours of successful college credit.
